Why I'm here.... (ypomoni)

It's almost 3am and I have just spent the past 2 hours chasing a mouse in my apartment. It finally jumped into a laptop bag, which I quickly zipped up, placed into a large rubbish bag, sprayed thoroughly with air freshner (I'm a chemist, we use chemicals) and threw into the trashcan. I'm safe, but I won't be able to sleep knowing it's still in the house. So I did what any person in my position would do - I created a blog (and then it got merged with this one).

postscript - the mouse was alive and well the next day, so I took the bag to a park - far away - and released it. No animals were harmed in the making of this blog.
